Stiverne's missed WBC- VADA test may cost him his shot.
In the WBC's, VADA supported drug testing program, it lists the specific fighters whom have complied with the regulatory testings, fighters whom have both passed, failed or missed a testing.. In the more recent list it has categorised former WBC heavyweight champion Bermaine Stiverne as having missed a test.. The WBC has specified that a missed test counts automatically as a failed drug test. This particular ruling is very important in relation with current WBC heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilders immediate future.. Back in February the governing body ordered Wilder to make a defence against its mandatory, who just happens to be Stiverne. The failure to register a drug test before the deadline, may cost Stiverne the opportunity to regain the title that he lost in 2015, also opening the door for the possible muted matchup with undefeated Cuban, Luis Ortiz, closer to the end of the year.. Stiverne has yet to make a public statement and no yet announcement has been released concerning the situation.. The plot thickens.
