Sensational lightweight prospect Devin Haney 20-0 (13 Ko’s) took two huge steps on Friday night at Pechanga Resort in Temecula California.. Firstly headlining in a ten rounder against former world title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos 33-3-2 (21 Ko’s) by far his most experienced opponent to date, and secondly headlining on his own show debuting as a promoter. Devin Haney Promotions not only shedding light on himself, but a growing stable of young fighters boxing under his tutelage.. Haney didn’t disappoint, boxing a very mature professional display to outclass the very capable Burgos over the ten round distance by scores of.. 97-93, 100-90, 100-90. Haney looks every inch in the mould of a young Floyd Mayweather, but is already steps ahead of his predecessor with already 20 bouts under his belt, still yet to turn 20 years of age.. Devin became the youngest ever fighter to appear at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas back in 2016 when he beat Rafael Vasquez on the Pacquiao v Bradley undercard, and now appears to have become the youngest ever listed boxing promoter... Haney and co, are promising some big things in 2019, with a real possiblity of a world title fight materialising.
