Julio Cesar Chavez Jr 50-3-1 (32 KOs) will return back to action from a 25 month hiatus when he faces Colombian Every Bravo 25-10-1 (19 Ko’s) on August 10 at Super Middleweight.. The designated location for the long awaited return is split between either Puerto Vallarta, Lagos de Moreno or Tijuana, Mexico and will be broadcast on Azteca 7’s The House of Boxing.
Chavez has been back in the gym in Tijuana training diligently under the watchful eye of Romulo Quirarte and appears by all accounts to be on superb form, eagerly awaiting live action.. Quirarte the man assuming the role of head coach says that he’s never seen Julio display such desire and ambition to return back to the top of the division..
The show also sees the ring return of former world champion Jose Uzcategui, a potential future opponent for JCC by the nature of the promotion.. No other fights or details have been released regarding the undercard, although the Promoters, Zanfer Promotions inc, have assured all concerned that a press release should emerge within the week.
