2012 Olympian and now the IBF #2, WBO #4, WBA #4 and WBC #6 ranked light heavyweight contender Artur Beterbiev (10-0, 10 KOs) scored a fourth round KO over Ezequiel “El Olympico” Maderna (23-3, 15 KOs) on Saturday night at the Bell Center in Montreal, Canada. Beterbiev dropped Maderna twice in round three and two more times in round four before Maderna’s corner threw in the towel. Time was :56.
Beterbiev looks to be closing in on Sergei Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson who look reluctant to box the dangerous Russian import.. Beterbiev has made it very clear that he is closing in on the top fighters in the division, Artur has looked every bit the finished article in dispatching former champions Gabriel Campillo and Tavoris Cloud quite comfortably.. Beterbiev retains his WBA - NABA light heavyweight tile.
