IBF #1 Joseph Parker stops Haumono in 4.

Unbeaten IBF number one ranked heavyweight Joseph Parker (20-0, 17 KOs) scored a spectacular fourth round KO over WBA #11 Solomon Haumono (24-3-2, 21 KOs) on Thursday night at the Horncastle Arena in Christchurch, New Zealand. Neither fighter came out looking for overtime, loading up with bombs from the off, Parker having the greater success in the early rounds. Haumono missed wildly quite frequently and was made to pay with accurate counters from the younger prospect..  The end came half way through the fourth, Parker threw a two piece combination ending in a crisp uppercut dropping the 40-year-old Haumono heavily, the veteran appeared dazed and unable to beat referee Bruce McTavish's count.. Haumono regained his feet but was on another planet...   The time was 1:35.
Middleweight Kris George (11-1, 6 KOs) stopped previously unbeaten Bowyn Morgan (7-1, 4 KOs) in round three. A left hook dropped Margan to end the fight..
Unbeaten heavyweight Izuagbe Ugonoh (16-0, 13 KOs) scored a fourth round KO over Ricardo Humberto Ramirez (13-2, 10 KOs). The promoting Ugonoh dropped Ramirez in round two and finished him in round four with bodyshots. Ugo is a team mate and sparring partner of Jo Parker's, both guys managed by Kevin Barry..
Heavyweight David Letele completed the undercard (12-3, 6 KOs) scoring a fourth round TKO over JJ Smith (1-1, 1 KO).
