Anthony Fowler, Ritson, Davies jr, Bakole, all successful in Liverpool.

Rising Middleweight Anthony Fowler 10-1 (8 Ko’s) returned from his first defeat with a convincing points win over Former world title challenger Brian Rose 31-6-1 (8 Ko’s) on Friday night at the Echo Exhibition Centre in Liverpool. Fowler won by scores of 98-92, 98-92 and 97-93.

Liverpool Welterweight Robbie Davies Jr 19-1 (13 Ko’s) outclassed tough Michal Dufek 25-22-2 (18 Ko’s) before halting the Czech in the third round. The former European super lightweight champion looked every inch a class above the brave visitor, the referee halting the bout when a high volume of punches overwhelmed Dufek..

Former undefeated British lightweight champion Lewis Ritson 19-1 (12 Ko’s) stopped a respectable Marek Jedrzejewski 14-3 (13 Ko’s) in three to retain his WBA Continental crown. Ritson dropped the late substitute opponent with a body shot, before denying the tough Pole the opportunity to recover, the referee’s intervening after a follow up barrage..

Scottish based Congolese Heavyweight Martin Bakole 13-1 (10 Ko’s) became the first man to stop the durable Ytalo Perea 11-5-2 (7 Ko’s), when he dazed the Ecuadorean in the opener, before forcing the referee to halt proceedings as Perea appeared unable to protect himself..
