Dubois knocks out overmatched Fujimoto in 2 at the Copperbox.

Undefeated British and commonwealth heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois 14-0 (13 KOs) scored a textbook one punch knockout in round 2 over unknown Japanese import Kyotaro Fujimoto 21-2 (13 KOs) tonight at the Copper Box Arena in London. Dubois put Fujimoto on the floor earlier in the round with a stiff jab, then finished the job with a well timed looping right hand. Fujimoto in all honesty only came to survive and never appeared to land a single shot.. time of stoppage was 2:10. The bout was officially contested for Dubois’ WBO international title and the vacant WBC silver heavyweight title..

World ranked British middleweight Liam Williams 21-2-1 (16 KOs) scored a fifth round KO over WBO #2, Alantez Fox 26-1-1 (12 KOs) to pick up the vacant WBO intercontinental title. Williams forced the action from the off, visibly overwhelming the 6 foot 4 Fox with fast paced pressure.. Both fighters picked up facial cuts, before a right hand dropped the American in round four. Fox hung in there with a mix of survival tactics but was deducted a point in the 5th for excessive holding. Later in the round, Williams caught Fox with a barrage of shots, again forcing Fox to the canvas, to end the affair.. Time was 2:59.

The youngest of the popular Fury family, Light heavyweight Tommy Fury 3-0 (2 KOs), half-brother to Tyson, returned to the ring, following his reality Tv appearance on Love Island and needed just over a minute to stop an overmatched Przemyslaw Binienda 2-27 (2 KOs). Fury came out blazing, catching Binienda cold and dropping him twice before forcing the referee to stop the one way action.. Fury celebrated like he’d won a championship, however tonight’s defeat is the 25th straight loss for the visitors resume..

Former British amateur heavyweight standout David Adeleye successfully made his professional debut with a bang, knocking out Dmitrij Kalinovskij 13-63-4 (5 KOs) in the opener.. Adeleye, an intelligent student had options to turn pro over 18 months ago, yet opted to complete his university degree before making the step.. Time of stoppage was 2:25.

Unbeaten super flyweight Sunny Edwards 14-0 (4 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous points decision over Liverpools, Marcel Braithwaite 9-2 (0 KOs) in a bout for the vacant British title.. However the usually light punching Braithwaite shocked onlookers when he dropped Edwards in the 7th.. Edwards did maintain his composure to stay in complete command for the remainder of the bout.. Scores were 118-109, 117-110, 117-110.
