WBA order Rigondeaux v Flores rematch.

The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association has ordered a rematch between WBA super bantamweight Super champion, Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 Ko's) and interim champion Moisés Flores (25-0, 17 Ko's). Both sides have 30 days to reach an agreement to avoid purse bids with a 75/25 purse split in favour of Rigondeaux.
Both guys fought June 17th with the bout ending by first round knockout by a late shot thrown by Rigondeaux, the result was later changed to no contest by the Nevada State Athletic Commission because the KO blow, upon review, had landed after the bell. After an analysis of the fight, the WBA Championships Committee agreed with the view of the NSAC.
Amidst the confusion at the conclusion, Victory was awarded to Rigondeaux. After review, Flores is still recognized as interim champion but will be under the mandatory 60 day suspension for his own safety following the subsequent knockout.
