Breazeale faces Molina on Nov 4th Barclays card.

In a battle of former world heavyweight title challengers, Californian Dominic Breazeale 18-1 (16 Ko's) will now face tough Eric Molina 26-4 (19 Ko's) in a 12-round WBC title eliminator on the Wilder v Stiverne 2 card at the Barclays centre, Brooklyn., on November 4th. The main feature, Deontay Wilder v Bermane Stiverne is being broadcast live on SHOWTIME.. Breazeale was originally scheduled to face Stiverne, Whom understandably pulled out of the bout when offered an elevated opportunity to challenge Deontay Wilder, following Luis Ortiz's failed drug test.
Wilder became champion back in January of 2015 when he beat Stiverne in their first meeting and boxed Eric Molina in his first defence 6 months later..
Breazeale, a former Olympian has already had a shot at a championship when he challenged IBF champion Anthony Joshua in June of last year in the champions first defence.. Molina lost his second shot at a title when he became Joshua's second defence back in the December of 2016.. Breazeale is coming off an impressive stoppage of previously unbeaten Izu Ugonoh last February, whilst Molina laboured to a 6 round Majority decision victory over Jamal Woods (a fighter with 35 losses) last month in his last appearance.

The card will also feature former welterweight champion Shawn Porter taking on Adrian Granados and Sergey Lipinets battling Akihiro Kondo for the vacant junior welterweight title both televised bouts.
