Julius Indongo returns with impressive win in Alabama.

Former 140-pound title holder Julius Indongo 23-2 (12 Ko’s) returned to winning ways on Saturday with an impressive two round stoppage victory over Carltavius Johnson 4-2 (0 Ko’s) at The Bobby Miller Center in Tuscaloosa Alabama.. Indongo, coming off losses to Terrence Crawford and Regis Prograis appeared rusty in the early going having spent the best part of 18 months inactive.. Johnson took full advantage, opening up early with some decent punches, possibly the worse thing he could have done.. The onslaught seemed to wake Julius up who emerged a whole different fighter in the 2nd.. Indongo stunned Johnson with a stiff hook, dropping him with a crisp follow up flurry.. Carltavius (often known as Tay Jones) rose on shaky legs and was stopped at 1:12 of the session..

In a support bout, Colourful, undefeated Cuban heavyweight Robert Alfonso moved to 19-0-1 with 9 Knockouts with a third round stoppage of Steve Lyons.

The Card was put together by Brandon Owens and Jay Deas in association with Skyy Promotions.
